Lovely friendly atmosphere and great after race spread!
Really liked the smaller field and very friendly atmosphere. Weather was awful! Very cold wet and grey but the team were friendly, welcoming and supportive despite having to stand out in it all day. Plenty of delicious goodies at the finish and a really great medal! Thank you all, will definitely look for more "Grim Up North" races.
Lovely, bracing trot out
Lovely atmosphere. Friendly volunteers. Great event.
Lovely run along the canal at Bingley
Great for beginners going for a longer distance !!
It was first Grim event and I liked the community feel!! The scenery is great. The post snacks were fantastic- huge range to choose from !!
My first Grim event but not my last!
Very well organised race, plenty of people on hand to help. Will definitely be attended more of their events in the future!
Extra kudos to the amazing post race complimentary food and drink selection, up there with the best I’ve seen!
Fun run but overpriced
Scenic course and friendly staff however felt overpriced - no Marshalls on the course at road junctions, no marker signage. Little atmosphere at the start - could play some music.
Disappointed that for £25 photos are not free.
Felt comfortable, safe and, after finishing, rather full of goodies!
Well organised, difficult to go off course, fantastic medal and lots of post-race goodies!
Lovely race as always, fantastic medal, well stocked feed stations and Lovely to get to say farewell to Hillary
Any entry under the name Thornton Cleveleys should actually say Brian Cumpsty , not sure what I keep doing wrong regarding this
Hi, That is the name you put done when you entered..
Well Organised Event
Plenty of marshalls around , food / water stations . Would have been helpful to have signs showing us when to turn around. I couldn't hear the marshall
Lovely scenery- perfect for getting the mileage in.
Quite lonely in places (nothing you can do about that I guess). Lots of aid stations (well stocked with friendly Marshalls).
I had a bit of a wobble at the end (feeling a faint). None of the Marshalls/crew noticed or offered any support, I just sat myself in the tent for a few minutes - I was fine, so no issue, but I think it would help if the guys were perhaps a little more vigilant (I’m not complaining though!!)
Victorious.
After 36 years in Bingley, you would think I'd be used to the Five Rise Climb.
Great, friendly, welcoming and very well organised!
Well organised, on time, plenty of great food and drink at the finish!
Absolutely brilliant
Grim events are always great. I like the smaller, independent feel, far more than a huge race with 1000s of people.
I could leave my dryrobe in the Grim van ready for when I finished. The snacks were ace. There’s always coke (my go to hydration) and the medal was one of my all time favourites.
